Windows 2000 Advanced Server چند کارت شبکه ساپورت میکنه؟ و چگونه میتوان انها را به مادربورد وصل کرد؟
Windows 2003 Server چطور؟

I have tested AS with 13 Interface, 2x 4port-intel server adaptor, 2x dual port intel server adaptor and an

on baord server adaptor on Intel server.

We had a VOICE DB server with needed routing and backup interfaces. i think windows 2003 handles multi

interfaces better, but i never found details on windows interface limitations.

Do you mean of 2x 4port-intel server adaptor is having two adaptors each with 4 ports?
should we connect into a PCI slat?
what does it cost?

Yes, if you check intel site, you well find there are server adaptors, that has two and four ports.

i didn't see any in tehran, but i am sure if you search you well get some, they are ideal since you can

configure those adaptors for failover and load balancing, and many other features.

the price for the quad i paid for is around 220'000 toman and the dual was around 170'000 toman.

May I ask what is the VOICE DB server doing??!! any information appreciated

VOIP DB is a server that hold all data coming from VOIP gateways.

You see, you need a billing server that does aaa, then the DB should be stored some where on the network,

this is how we used an MS SQL, to store users data like UID and Pass's, as well as account details money,

CDR (Call data records ) etc.

Do you mean VOIP DB is the same VOICE DB.
I noticed that you mentioned VOICE DB on your first post!!! how is that??!!!

indeed it is a voice server.

But voice over IP, cause if we say only voice it well be limited.

we had SQL and TFTP there, we had aaa, routing calls, gatekeeping and many other app.
