In this post, i explain how to install and configure System center Configuration Manager 2007 Dashboard.

In first time, What’s System center Configuration Manager Dashboard?
The Microsoft® System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Dashboard is a Windows® SharePoint® Services–based application that provides a view of multiple sets of Configuration Manager statistics on a single Web page. Users can view data in the form of pie charts, graphs, or Dundas gauges.
The Configuration Manager Dashboard addresses the need that business users and IT pros have to ensure that their computers and software meet the configuration requirements established for the organization. In order to determine that a requirement is being met, IT and business users must be able to monitor configurations, even though they may not have access to or knowledge of the existing Configuration Manager console.
The Configuration Manager Dashboard meets the need of organizations to track the deployment of operating systems, software, and updates as well as the health status of the managed computers (clients). Because the Dashboard is built on Windows SharePoint Services, users can access it without using the Configuration Manager console directly

Accuracy:
In this post I will not detail the installation of sccm, framework, Windows 2008 Server and SQL Server.
And now, it’s start for install and configure System center Configuration Manager 2007 Dashboard!
In my example, i installSharepoint 3.0.
Install and configure Sharepoint 3.0
1-Accept licence terms and clic Next

2-Select Standard install

3-Install in progress

4-Select execute …and clic to close

I confess, nothing complicated lol…
Now we must configure sharepoint
1-Start The sharepoint 3.0 Central administration

2-Clic Next

3-Clic Yes

4-Install in progress, creating database…

5-Install sources product

6-Task creating…

7-Configuration Finish, clic on Close

8-For test, launch the shortcut sharepoint 3.0 Central administration

Now we must configure SCCM DashBoard.
1-Clic Next

2-Accept licence terms and clic next

3-Insert all information:
-the account Application pool identity
-Password
-Database server name
-Database name SCCM
Clic Next

4-Insert all information:
-the account owner login for access to Sharepoint
-the email contact
-the sql database name
-the session database name
-the url for access to SCCM Dashboard (in my example: http://servername:12345
Clic Next

5-Clic Install

6-Clic Finish

7-Cool, the sccm Dashboard is installed and configured, you can launch the url acces >>example: http://servername:12345
