تبادل نظر در مورد VMWare

موضوع جدیدی که فکر میکنم تحولی تازه در شبکه میتواند باشد (البته نه خیلی جدید) بحث VMWare و سیستم عاملهای مربوطه هست .
متاسفانه من امکان و وقت ترجمه مطالب را نداشتم و فقط بحث را مطرح کردم تا با تبادل نظر دوستان مطالب بیشتری را بیاموزیم .

كسي ميدونه راهي براي اجراي cisco ios تو vmware هست يا نه؟
البته ميدونم vm واسه سيموليشن x86 هست، ولي شايد پلاگيني چيزي باشه كه بشه ‍‍apple mac و ios توش ران كرد، يعني يه محيط سخت افزاري مربوط به اين سيستمارو شبيه سازي كنه

منظورتون دقیقا چیه ؟ اگه محیطی میخوای برای شبیه سازی روتر اون یه امری دیگه

در مورد vmware آیا کسی میتونه توضیحی کاملتر ذکر کنه.
کاربردهای استاندارد- سیستم عاملهای وابسطه - امکانات و قابلیتها و ....

من هم فکر نمیکنم با استفاده از Vm بتونید اینکار رو انجام بدید ولی برای اجرای سیستم عامل های 64 بیت و غیره مشگلی ندارید.
vm الان بیشتر تو ایران برای تست نرم افزار و کار کردن با سیستم عامل های مختلف استفاده میشه.
نسخه های مختلفی داره و نسخه های سرور این برنامه قابلیت های بالایی داره و اگر اسم VPS hosting رو شنیده باشید باید بدونید که این host های مجازی توسط برنامه هایی نظیر همین vmware درست میشه.
و به کاربرها اجازه میده یک سرور مجازی کامل داشته باشن و هر کاری دوست دارن و هر تستی رو روش انجام بدن.

در رابطه با سیستم عامل ها vmware هیچ تضمینی به کاربرها در رابطه با پشتیبانی از سیستم عامل خاصی رو نمیده ولی بیشتر سیستم عامل ها رو غیر مستقیم پشتیبانی میکنه.
در رابطه با شبکه بیشتر برای تست سیستم عامل ها و یا تست محیط های مختلف شبکه و کار با سیستم عامل های مختلف بکار میاد.

تا جایی که من تحقیق کردم vmware یعنی نرم افزار یا سیستم عامل ماشینها یا سرور مجازی .
بطوری که میتونه روی یک سرور ویندوز یا لینوکس یا ... محیطی برای اموزش یا کار با سیستم عامل های دیگر رو ایجاد کنه .
مثلا شما سرور ویندوز دارین روش با نصب vmware میتونید چندین سرور دیگر با سیستم عاملهای دیگر نصب کنید و کاربران با هر سیستم عامل که بخواهند بطور همزمان کار کند. یعنی یکی ویندوز کار کنه ، یکی لینوکس ، یکی os/2 و...
